    • A second date for Guttorm's birth is 1440 - source: John Wasylow.

Although we do not know the name of Guttorm's wife, we believe she was a daughter of Devegge, and the descendants who have used the names Fredrik and Clemet down throu the generations on the Trommald and Sonsteby farms in Flaa must have gotten those names from the Devegge family.

There was an Oluf Gudolfsen Tingnes whose first wife was Sigrid Gunnarsdatter Gulsvik. Oluf G. Ringnes rented out his part of Gulsvik to AAse Plau's daughter on the same terms as her husband Jon Helgesen Gulsvik had had. In 1594, Jon Helgeson's oldest son, Guttorm, was given the'udal right' to Gulsvik farm because his father, Jon Helgeson had occupied it from 1563 until his death 22 August, 1591. Guttorm's son, Fredrik, bought Trommald farm until 1747. We believe Erland moved to Stein. Guttorm Sigurdsen also had a son Thorgeir who received three farms in Aavestrud and Grosland in Flaa where descendants still live.
